Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of vortexskins.com and any purchase you make there. The store is operated by VORTEXSKINS LTD. By placing an order you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy.

1. Who we are and what we sell

We sell in-game cosmetic items (“skins”) for Counter-Strike 2 from our own inventory. Every listing shows the item’s name, condition and, where available, its exterior, rarity, quality and float value. Items are digital — nothing is shipped physically.

2. No affiliation with Valve

VortexSkins is an independent store. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to Valve Corporation, Steam or Counter-Strike. All trade marks and game content belong to their respective owners. Your use of Steam remains governed by Valve’s own Steam Subscriber Agreement and rules, and nothing here overrides them.

3. Eligibility and your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract.
• You need a Steam account in good standing, with trading enabled and Steam Guard active, to receive an item.
• You are responsible for everything done through your account and for keeping your credentials safe. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.
• Browsing the catalogue does not require an account. Signing in is needed to complete a purchase.

4. Prices and orders

• All prices are shown in euro (EUR) and include any tax we are required to charge.
• Prices track the market and can change at any time before an order is confirmed. The price that applies is the one confirmed in your order.
• Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm the order by email or make the item available for delivery.
• If a listing contains an obvious error in price or description, or the item is no longer in inventory, we may decline or cancel the order and refund you in full.
• Each listed item is unique. Once it is sold, that exact item — including its float — is no longer available.

5. Payment

We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment must clear in full before an item is delivered. Where a bank transfer is used, quote your order number so we can match the payment; unmatched payments delay delivery. We may request additional verification where a payment is flagged by our providers.

6. Delivery

• Delivery is made to the Steam account you provide, through a Steam trade offer.
• We normally send the trade offer promptly after payment clears. Delivery can be delayed by Steam trade holds, Steam maintenance or restrictions on your account — these are outside our control.
• You must accept the trade offer within the period stated in it. If it expires, contact support and we will re-send it.
• Risk and ownership pass to you when the trade offer is accepted.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: buy for resale in breach of Valve’s rules; use fraudulent or stolen payment methods; attempt to reverse or dispute a payment for an item you have received; use bots, scrapers or automated ordering; interfere with the site’s security; or use the store for money laundering or any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or close accounts and cancel orders that breach this clause.

8. Intellectual property

The site, its design, text and graphics are owned by VORTEXSKINS LTD or licensed to us, and may not be copied or reused without permission. Item names and images are used for identification only and remain the property of their owners.

9. Liability

We provide the store with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of opportunity or in-game value, or for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited. If you buy as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the store at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or to protect the store from fraud. Orders already paid for will still be delivered or refunded.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections available to you locally.
